Book Review: Conscious Change

I recently read “Conscious Change” by Jean Kantambu Latting and V. Jean Ramsey and found it to be an excellent guidebook for navigating personal and professional communication challenges.

In today’s world where diversity, equity and fairness to all still matter, whatever the setting, reach for a copy of “Conscious Change” to give you a step-by-step guide for salvaging relationships, and thriving at home and at work.

The authors’ assertion that it is imperative we move first from the “Answer into the Question” provides a foundation for the notion of pushing pause in our minds, remaining curious, and not assuming we know what others want to say and what their perspectives are.  Those who break through to better relationships and who salvage tenuous friendships know to do this.  We do not know what others think and feel until we delve deeply into the meaning behind their words.

The authors provide six principles of conscious change, which I highly recommend you delve into when you read their book.
